Youth Employment
An initiative to promote Skill Development for Youth Employment:AAS
India’s unemployment and underemployment problem particularly
affects those from lower socio-economic communities. Poor families remain in
poverty simply for a lack of skills that could provide access to well paid jobs
which employers have difficulty recruiting for. Joining the organized sector
provides access to better salaries, cleaner and safer working conditions, fixed
hours, job security, career growth and often other benefits such as free
transport, healthcare and insurance.
One of the weaknesses of the Indian education system is that it
does not give due importance to vocational training. As a result, there is a
discrepancy between the need for skilled workers and skilled workers available.
Each year, we churn out millions of graduates who do not have the specific
skills required by the market. If this trend continues, our economic growth
would hurt the long term. To
change this first thing we must change our mindset. In India, people are
obsessed with attaining a graduation degree and usually top-down training. This
has led to a situation there where, on the one hand, it scores of unemployed
graduates and on the other hand, there is a huge shortage of skilled workers
such as plumbers, electricians, etcOur vision to recognize and promote
intellectual excellence & to encourage skills development in young people
from disadvantaged communities to begin their careers Organisation launch AAS an Scholarship Programme to provide
financial and other assistance to students for their higher education in India.
Assistance is available to any qualified student, irrespective of the
applicant’s caste, community, gender or religion.
The primary focus of the Scholarship Program are partnering to
support university students who hope to be our country’s future leaders, with
careers including engineers, business owners, nurses, and computer scientists.
Through this programme Organisation will cover partial costs of annual tuition.

Meaning of Development
AAS NGO is putting efforts in nation building since 2005, by the team of professionals having
expertise in various sectors and Industry. Very Interestingly from a farmer of
Bihar to an IT expert from Tamilnadu, all come together to nurture the country
with unique and innovative concept at AAS Organisation. One can even say this
integration of different industry to put efforts for the social cause known as
AAS Organisation.
Study says more than 70%
population resided into rural parts of the India, and only 25% economical
distribution is at par at this locations. Is it the worth while figure when we
proudly say our nation will be the super economical power within few years?
What would be the role of these 70% population? How and what these people will
contributes in GDP? Are they competitive enough in the coming days? And other
like wise concern are the reasons that form AAs organization.
AAS Organisation mainly

SKILL
Chance For A Life With Dignity
Due to poverty and lack of access to basic quality education, many
children in slums drop out from the schools and get engaged in income
generating activities. But since they are unskilled, they end up being petty
labourers, vendors or collect garbage on and off streets. AAS Organisation aims at
ending this vicious cycle of poverty and providing vocational skills to
adolescents and youth especially girls to increase their chances of finding a
respectable profession and becoming a contributing member of the society.
How Does Skill
Development Impect on People and Society ?
People who participate in
training can access better working and payment conditions, a higher
employability and a better quality of life. Developing qualifications and
competencies should guarantee their capacity to adapt to changes in
technologies and the organization of work..
Society perceives the impact of
the development of competencies as jobs of higher quality, higher employment
and formality rates, reduction of poverty, social inclusion, respect for labor
rights and competitiveness on global markets.
Additionally, the development of qualifications can also help build more equitable societies. There is a close relationship between the various forms of labour market exclusion – such as unemployment, underemployment and low wages – and poverty and discrimination. Therefore, training actions which contribute to solve such forms of exclusion will have a direct bearing on the fight against poverty and social exclusion. Social benefits include sensitive issues such as reducing violence and crime rates, and becoming more integrated to the family, the community or the society as a whole.

Health and Survival,Nurturing Lives:Bringing Smile
Nearly one-fourth of India’s urban population or about 100 million
persons reside in slum or slum-like conditions with very limited access to
health and other basic services. The health status of the urban poor population
is considerably worse off than the rest of the urban population. Every day,
large numbers of children are dying in Delhi slums, because of lack of access
to basic health care facilities.
AAS Organisation works with the children
from the most marginalized, economically deprived families to support them in
treatment of critical illnesses. The parents usually do not have a huge amount
of money to spend on treatment of such illnesses.
The organization sponsors treatment of children and helps them to get back to
their normal lives.
AAS Organisation has provided support for
many children till date. Recently, the organization supported surgeries of
three children at a government hospital. The parents of these children work as
a daily wage laborer. The surgery has helped to restore the childhood of these
children who now lead a normal life.
